Characteristics

Location

From the main town centre, Sant Joan de Mediona, take carrer del Molí and follow it alongside the riera de Mediona until reaching a turn-off to the right that climbs towards the Can Verdaguer residential area. Once here, follow the streets that climb towards the small summit of the Talaia and shortly before arriving take the street that branches off to the right and continues along the track of les Clivelleres. On its first stretch it is flat and at a bend, to the right, a small path branches off that goes into the woods, descending towards a torrent filled lengthwise and breadthwise by an immense chaos of blocks. On the left a small cliff is outlined and ahead another, this one parallel to the torrent. Between the two a passage opens through which the path we had lost continues and leads us to the flat area of the upper zone. Continuing onwards a little more than 30 metres, in the middle of the flat area is the pit.
