Location

From Taús, take the track heading to the Cuberes forest refuge. About 200 metres after the third junction, you will pass between two very pronounced dolines, one on each side of the path. Cross the torrent and continue along the first turning to the left. Cross a torrent and after 150 metres leave the track and climb on the left-hand side in a straight line through the middle of the forest for about 100 metres, where the cave is located. It is quite difficult to find. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

A 3x2-metre entrance with a stone slab that divides it in two. It consists of a single shaft that ends in a slope of stone, earth and branches from the exterior.

History

Explored by GIRES in various campaigns carried out in the 90s.

This cave could be the “Forat del Bosc de Taús”, but there is no certainty of this. It was given its name after a corpse was found during the exploration, possibly from the post-war period of 1936.
