Avenc T-4

Avenc de 21 metres de fondària a Les Valls d'Aguilar

Valls d'Aguilar, Les • Alt Urgell41m21m

A 21-metre-deep pit in Les Valls d'Aguilar, explored by GIRES over several campaigns in the 90s.

Characteristics

Location

From Taús, take the track heading to the Cuberes forest refuge; about 200 metres after the third junction you will pass between two very pronounced dolines, one on each side of the path, cross the torrent gully and further on leave a turn-off to the left; 30 metres further on you will find another track to the left. At this point, on the right-hand side of the track, a kind of false flat formed by a limestone pavement and full of vegetation opens up. On the upper part of the slope facing the torrent gully, the cavity opens. Difficult to locate due to the density of the vegetation. Approximate coordinates.
