Description
Morphology
It consists of a single semicircular shaft with a diameter ranging between 2 and 3 metres and reaching 22 metres deep. About 5 metres before reaching the bottom there is a ledge formed by an accumulation of blocks.
Progression
An intense digging at the bottom of the pit (EGAN, February 2017) led to the discovery of a new shaft 8.5 metres deep, where a depth of 31.40 metres is reached.
History
Discovered (we believe by digging out the doline) and explored by members of GES – CMB in May 1968.
During several digging sessions (February 2017), members of EGAN (Igualada) were able to force the entrance of a new shaft that leads to a little more than 31 metres deep in the cavity. They also made a new survey of the entire cavity.
