Description
Morphology
The pit, a collapse pit, is formed by a 7 m shaft, located on the margin of an agricultural field.
Hydrology
Possibly rainwater drainage waters from this field seeped in, which were the cause of the collapse of the upper substrate and the opening of the shaft.
Other details
According to what they say, the pit was finished being opened up by a farmer who owned the fields, removing stones with his tractor. Afterwards, some iron crossbeams were installed at the mouth, shored up with stone blocks, to prevent accidents.
History
Cavity unpublished until members of the GE Badalona located and surveyed it at the end of September 2019.
