Description

Morphology

Through the small entrance of the cavity one enters a short descending gallery that, by means of a small step, leads to a chamber of reduced dimensions. Beside the entrance step begins a descending gallery that passes below the small room.

Progression

The descending gallery that passes below the small room leads, a few metres further on, into a small pit of little more than 4 metres of drop, where the pit ends.

History

On one of the many visits that Dr. Francesc Español made to the Bauma de Taleixà, specifically that of 18 September 1948, he must have been shown this nearby pit, making it the oldest exploration we know of, as recorded in the activities book of the GES – CMB.

We have practically almost no news of it until around the year 1979, also during a day of biospeleological research, it is visited by Xavier Bellés and Tere Cuñé, accompanied by Joan Cos (GEIS – Figueres), making the only survey we know of.
