Description
Morphology
The 0.96x0.65 metre entrance gives access to a 6.25 metre deep pit, whose base connects laterally with a small chamber just over one metre wide by 3 metres high. The floor is made up of a thick clay sediment; in places almost half a metre has been removed and work continues.
History
In 2017 Montse Roca and Juli Serrano (SIE-CEA), returning from the avenc dels Aragalls, found a small unknown hole; however, it was not until 2019 that they, with the help of some hard-up companions from the SIRE-UEC del Prat (currently Unió Excursionista del Part), after clearing a passage of just over 6 metres and beginning to gain volume, were stopped by a plug of sediments. The cavity still offers prospects of continuing the digging open.
