Small pit 7 m deep in the Cuns d'Aulà area (Alt Àneu), SE of Coll de la Tindarella.

Characteristics

Location

In the Cuns d'Aulà area, SE of Coll de la Tindarella.

We very much doubt the reliability of the coordinates, which more or less may indicate the area where the cavity is located. If they were correct, it is very possible that the pit would be located a few metres beyond the border, in French territory.

Description

Morphology

The entrance is located in an elongated fissure 40 centimetres wide, once cleared. It is formed by a vertical fissure that gradually slopes until it becomes collapsed by blocks.

Other details

We do not have a survey. The one that appears in the Catàleg (2008) is the same one that is also attributed in the same work to the Avenc C.17 d'Aulà.

History

Discovered by members of the SE Poble Sec – Foment Excursionista de Barcelona during a visit to the area in 1999 (or 1991?), while exploring it and following the numbering begun by the French of the SS Plantaurel.
