Description

Morphology

Cavity opened by digging out and formed by a succession of pits of 61, 18, 5 and 12 metres. At the bottom of the last of these a very narrow meander with a strong air current originates (level -95). The subsequent digging out managed to reach the -102 level up to a point that seems impenetrable.

History

Dug out and explored by members of the S.S. Plantaurel in August 1976 down to -95 metres, all betting on returning the following year. It is not until the summer of 1999 that members of the SE Poble Sec (Barcelona) re-explore the cavity and are able to force the terminal meander down to the -102 level.
