The longest shelter is the Balma de Rocagiberta, with 10 m; it is followed by the Balma de les Panses, with 8 m, and the Balma dels Gobians, with 5 m. As for depth, the Balma dels Gobians reaches 4 m, while the Balma de les Panses and the Balma de Rocagiberta are recorded with 0 m.
The Balma de Rocagiberta is a large shelter about a hundred metres wide and some 30 metres high. The Balma de les Panses is a built shelter, with dry-stone walls and a wooden door, which served as a shelter for livestock and agricultural tools and as a hiding place during the civil war. The Balma dels Gobians is a semicircular shelter 42 m wide, with a construction to collect water from the roof.
