Montmajor, a municipality in the Berguedà, has 4 inventoried caves that add up to a total length of 45 metres and a maximum depth of 1 metre. The cavities are divided between limestone, present in 3 cases, and sandstone, in 1.
The Bòfia de Coma Reïna is the longest cavity, with 25 metres of length, and also the deepest, with 1 metre. The Cova de la Canal del Boix, a small intermittent spring, and the Balma del Tec, a large shady rock shelter with no survey, both have 10 metres of length. The Balma de Cal Sabata, with remains of beams, a cylindrical tank cut into the rock and walls for keeping livestock, completes the group.
