The longest and deepest cavity in the municipality is the Bauma del Pont de la Cabreta, with 18 metres of length and 5 metres of depth. It is a spectacular rock shelter crossed by the train line at Campdevànol, with a large entrance of 14x9.5 metres and access from the interior through the railway tunnel.
As for the lithology, the catalogued cavity develops in sandstone. The municipality has no dependent cave-type entities.
