On the right-hand slope of the Sant Aniol d'Aguja gorge, at a point located upstream of the salt de la Capa and about 25 metres of elevation above the riverbed. Despite this, access is not from the river, since the cavity is almost hanging.

Starting from Sant Aniol d'Aguja, we will cross the river and climb to the coll de Clarioles. Here the path forks: we follow the left to overcome the cliffs by the pujant d'en Llebre. We reach the feixes de Can Llebre, a farmhouse today in ruins. Now the path descends until reaching the river. Up to here is the classic itinerary used by the canyoners who go to do the gorges de Sant Aniol. We cross the river and climb the other slope by a path that starts from the left of a cliff that dies at the river. Often the path approaches the edge of the cliff that we follow above. The cliff turns 90 degrees; the path becomes more elusive and we must be attentive to find a descent that will allow us to reach a cornice hanging on the cliff. The descent begins as a scree slope until reaching the cornice, very airy. Along this cornice we make our way back with respect to the cliff that we have followed above. In general, the cornice is grassy but with a strong slope toward the drop; care is needed. In a tricky step above a slab of slippery rock we will find a rope to hold on to. Once past the cornice, we enter a small wood totally inaccessible except by the itinerary by which we come. The cave is found already well inside the wood and in its lower part, just when the slope pours over the Sant Aniol gorge. From Sant Aniol d'Aguja to the cave there are two long hours of walking.
