Località

From the small village of Béixec, we continue along the track for about 400 metres, where we take a track to the right. In about 5 minutes, the path will leave us in an abandoned crop field (Camp de Menús). From the N end of the field, a half-lost path sets off that in 3 minutes takes us to the cave mouth, located at the foot of a small crag facing west. A few metres further on and about 8 m higher, diagonally from the Tuta Petita.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The mouth, 3X1.50 metres, gives way to an oval chamber with maximum dimensions of 10X8 metres, with a height reaching 6 metres.

Storia

The first news we have of this cavity is from the exploration carried out by Ferran Cardona (ECG), on 27 November 2009.

The same Cardona got in contact with archaeologists who made some preliminary visits to assess the interest of the site. Finally, in 2016 the work of studying the site was carried out.
