The Merveilleuse-Vertige traverse is described in the book “A Travers le Karst”. The route is easy to follow. The description of the traverse is missing 2 P20-25 m between the meander and the shaft of the Génèse.
From the base of this shaft, there is a marking with scotch lights and/or with cairns. After the junction with the grotte du Vertige, the route is easy; you simply follow the draught.
After passing the handline on the cliff face and below the entrance of the grotte du Vertige, go up the slope but rather towards the right. Do not follow along the cliff face; there is no passage to reach the parking lot.
