The entrance does not appear to act as an active sink, since it is slightly higher than the streambed. After a small 3-metre downclimb, a small gallery of 3 x 2 is reached, which at 10 metres ends in a large pit of more than 100 metres. At first it is an ellipsoidal corrosion pit measuring 15x5, but it gradually widens until it opens out into a vast clastic chamber about 50 metres high and 700 square metres in area. The presence of large blocks on its floor prevents any continuation.

The entrance does not appear to act as an active sink, since it is slightly higher than the streambed; however, it does end up collecting the water that has previously been filtered. In the rainy season the pit can be very active, as shown by the fluting marks that the water has left on its walls.
