Storia
According to legend, it was the refuge of the bandit Perot Rocaguinarda (1582-1635?) and his band. During the civil war (1936-39) it again served as a hiding place.
Known since time immemorial. The first speleological mention corresponds to M. Faura i Sans (1908), who simply refers to it as Roc-Guinart and describes it as of little importance.
In the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya (1982) its situation and its scant importance are reported.
In February 2014, members of the ERE – CEC visited it and made the only survey we know of.
