Caratteristiche

Località

On the cingle de la Creu, on the Serrat de la Capella. To get there you must take the paved track that climbs to Busa from the Vall d'Ora; about 400 metres after passing the coll d'Ordrigues, we will turn right onto a path that winds around the base of the Mirador de la Creu. We will leave the canal del Rial on the left and continue about 200 metres further on at the foot of the cingle, where we will find the construction known as la Moreria.

Descrizione

Morfologia

It is a very high shelter, with two galleries separate from each other and about 15 metres high. We do not know the total length of these two galleries. In the upper part of the construction known as la Moreria there are two openings whose dimensions we do not know.

Altri dettagli

The main importance of the complex is that in front of it stands a large wall of dressed stone, with a corner directed towards the wall acting as a door. Towards the middle there is a window with a festejador, and the highest part is made of mud blocks that hold the balance, but at any moment they can fall.

Storia

The people of the Vall d'Ora say that it has nothing to do with the fortification of the military school that existed at Busa, at the time of the Carlist wars, since they are older, from the times of the Moors, which is why they call it “la Moreria”. There is no data on archaeological research.
