The river is reached quickly from the entrance.
Progressione
The cave is described from the spring of the grotte de la Diau. For the 3 Bétas or Bel Espoir - Diau through trip, look for other springs.
Progression is made by going upstream along the river. You must stop at the lake de la Banane, which can only be crossed by swimming or by boat. It is possible to go up the méandre des Grenoblois to the base of the P11.
La Carène and the salle de la Carène must be rigged with ropes (see the rigging sheet below). The cave is permanently rigged for all other obstacles (fixed line).
For those wishing to do the 3 Bétas - Diau through trip, a 110 m rope is sufficient.
Progression in neoprene or in a pontonnière in the river is essential.
