Località

On the S slope of the Serra del Cadí and a few metres above the left bank of the Torrent de Jovell. From the start of the old path, at the exit of Josa del Cadí, which climbs towards the Coll de Jovell, its entrance can be seen on the other side of the torrent.

Descrizione

Morfologia

A circular entrance just over 1 metre in diameter leads us for about 4 metres into the interior of the cavity, at which point it turns to the right and its dimensions diminish until it closes completely.

Storia

Known for ever by the people of Josa del Cadí. The first exploration was carried out by members of the SIRE – UEC Sants in August 1968.

Also in August, but in 1995, members of the SIES (Esplugues de Llobregat) visited it again and made the survey, which remained unpublished until the publication of the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya (J. de Valles, 2009).
