Località

On the road from Berga to Vilada, c-26, after km 156 we will take a turnoff on the left that is a track leading to the castle of Roset. At the first turnoff of the track we will continue along the left-hand path that will take us to the farmhouse of Viladomat. Here we will leave the car and continue towards the collet de Berga until the track ends; we will follow the path that is the old path from Vilada to La Nou, and on the same path we will find the hole on the right-hand side.

Morfologia

The clearing begins with the widening of the small opening through which the wind came out, continuing to widen and extend the passage along the 6 metres that have been advanced until reaching -3.5 metres of elevation difference.

Progressione

At this point, in order to continue, the passage would have to be widened to be able to remove the blocks from the place where the air current comes from.

Storia

Known for many years by the local people and hikers who could observe beside the path a kind of rabbit burrow from which an air current came out. The forat del Vent is a forat bufador (blowing hole) that for years has been cleared by members of the GEB and collaborators. The initiator of these tasks was Ramon Canela. Anyone who wants more information about its clearing can consult the amusing note 'Dinamiters', by our friend Lluís Auroux (Espeleobloc, 3-1-2017).
