Località

Take the track that leaves the Pla d'Ardenya towards the Serra del Mas and the Marge del Moro. On reaching the first crossroads, follow the left-hand one; when the climb is practically over and the track turns right towards the doline of the serra del Mas or Bassa de la Llacuna, we must leave the vehicle and, from the middle of the bend, branch off to the left towards the crag for 100 metres, where we will find a fissure that blocks our way. Following it both to the right and to the left we will come across the various entrances of the les Esquerdes of the Mas de les Fonts.

Descrizione

Morfologia

One of the most spectacular entrances of the complex. The cavity descends with drops between blocks down to -12 metres.

Progressione

30 metres further have been probed. It connects through a narrow passage with the fissure beside it (SM-6), which is characterised by the vegetation at its entrance.

Storia

The first exploration of this fissure was carried out in 1980 by the ERE of the CEC.
