Descrizione
Morfologia
The average height of the cavity is 1.65 meters, measuring 3.20 m deep and 3.40 meters wide.
Idrologia
On the west side a small channel runs along the rock.
Progressione
The entrance shows traces of having had a door, since two holes can be seen in the upper hinge and some marks that could have been for inserting a holding lever.
Altri dettagli
On the right side an engraved cross thirty centimeters high can be seen on the wall. Inside there are three burials that could be dated between the ninth and tenth centuries; as a curiosity, one of them is oriented to the west instead of to the east. North of the terrace occupied by the cavity a small winepress can be seen.
