Cueva eremítica de Orzales o Gobate A

The first cave-hermitage has a kind of open atrium and traces of having had an access door. It is oriented to the southwest. Inside there are several tombs, one of them excavated in the north wall and, given their shape, they could be dated between the ninth and tenth centuries. It has a winepress excavated on the ceiling itself, whose measurements are 172x141 centimeters in diameter, complemented by a torco located on the wall, facing south. At the northwest end there is another winepress and to the southeast half of a winepress or an excavation in the manner of a torco.

These winepresses could serve, in rainy weather, the function of cisterns to collect water.
