Località

From the avenc dels Esquelets, follow the riera de Jafre downstream (the path follows the riera, at times along the streambed and at others along one or the other bank) and when you reach the fifth meander, almost below Penya Embassada, you must climb about 7 metres up the right bank to reach the cave.

Morfologia

A wide rock shelter 19 metres wide that narrows in the shape of a funnel over a length of 5 metres. The height at the entrance is 2.5 metres and it narrows as the ceiling descends, so that at the end it is only 0.5 metres high.

Altri dettagli

It appears to be the product of lateral erosion by the riera de Jafre, when it flowed at the current level of the rock shelter.

Storia

The only information we have is that given by members of the Biblioteca Museu Víctor Balaguer (Vilanova i la Geltrú), who surveyed it in August 1981.
