Località

On the N-152 road, heading towards Ribes de Freser, shortly before reaching kilometre point 116, we find the bridge that crosses the Freser river. On the left-hand side is the old bridge, which is currently an esplanade where one can stop. From here the coves de Ribes can be seen on the cliff wall. The cave entrance is located on the lower part of the cliff and opposite the old bridge, at about 4 metres of height.

Morfologia

The entrance gallery is about 6 metres long by two metres wide and 1.8 high. After this it becomes very narrow and low, but one can still progress about 11 metres further, until it becomes totally impenetrable.

The first reference to this cavity was made by members of the SIE del CE Àliga, who explored it on 8 October 1972.
