One of the two small caves known as the coves de l'Artiga, in Sant Martí Sarroca (Alt Penedès).

Caratteristiche

Località

On the western side of Sant Martí Sarroca begins the path that within a few metres leads to Can Carbó and the font de la Salut. Once past it and heading towards the masia de l'Artiga, at the first bend a small path branches off to the right that in a few minutes leads us to the caves.

Descrizione

Morfologia

They are two small cavities oriented to the NW at the foot of a small cliff above the riera de Pontons and made up of two galleries, slightly ascending, with a low ceiling that reach a maximum axis of about 15 metres; number 1 is the one located further N.

Storia

Known since remote times. The only data we know are those provided by members of the SIRE-UEC Sants who visited them in February 1980.
