A 16-metre-long cave in Les Valls d'Aguilar, with a large entrance about 11 metres high by 5 wide and superimposed galleries.

Caratteristiche

Località

Between Noves de Segre and Bellpui, a track leaves on the left side of the road and leads to a house, and a little further on we find the river. From this point, looking towards the serra de Prada (south), we will see some scree slopes on the other side of the river; near the highest part of the left-hand scree slope and on its right-hand side according to the direction of travel, we will see the cave entrance, which is also visible from the river.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Large entrance about 11 metres high by 5 wide. Inside there are two superimposed galleries, an upper one 7 metres long and the lower one 4 metres long; at the same time we also find a gallery 6 metres long located to the south-west, that is to say to the left of the entrance.

Progressione

To reach the upper gallery there is a height difference of +10 metres.

Explored by GIRES in various campaigns carried out in the 90s.
