Driving along the C-55 road, from Olesa de Montserrat to Monistrol, at kilometre 7.1 you must take a turn-off to the right that passes by the old spa of la Puda and follow the track —junctions with signs— until reaching Can Tobella (Can Tovella, on the ICC map). Past the last house (Can Benet), 80 metres on and to the left of the track, a well-marked path starts. Follow it for about 500 metres until you come to a cliff in the middle of the torrent. Caves no. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are on a terrace at mid-height and very close to one another. Very approximate coordinates.

Descrizione

Morfologia

It is a large rock shelter hanging on the cliff, with no break in continuity. The floor, covered by clayey sediments, has a slope inclined outward.

Storia

Cavities known since time immemorial by the people of the area. It is not, however, until the beginning of 1972 that members of the Barcelona groups SE Gelera and GE Pedraforca carry out a campaign of cataloguing and study of the group of cavities in the area.
