Cova M-22

From Senterada you must head to the Pobleta de Bellveí where we will take a narrow road on the right to the Montcortès lake; on the E side of the lake, an asphalted track starts that heads to Peracalç; when we reach the junction with the track that goes to Montsor, we will take this one on the right, suitable for any vehicle, and after 1.7 kilometres we will reach the flat area where the cavities are found; this is on the left of the track, the spot is easily recognised since the track makes a sharp bend to the right and also on the right there is a large temporary pool of water that serves for the animals to drink.

The identification of the cavities is quite complicated, since only the painted name is preserved on the M-1, M-11 and M-35; from the rest of the cavities any sign identifying them has disappeared, and the GEB does not report any kind of guideline followed in order to identify them; therefore, except for these two cavities, we do not know which coordinates of the rest correspond correctly to each one of them; we have considered it appropriate to mark the rest of the cavities with some coordinates located between M-1 and M-11, taking into account that except for the M-8, which is a couple of bends before reaching the flat area, the rest of the cavities are located within a radius of less than 200 metres from this point that we indicate; in some cases the coordinates correspond to hole entrances, but we ignore whether they correspond to the same ones.

As for the situation of this cavity, you must enter the meadow getting as close as possible to the fissure of the M-1 and without crossing it, that is, leaving it on our left. As soon as the M-1 disappears and we can cross without any difficulty, we will head towards the small crag that we will see on our left; a few metres before reaching it, we will find a small mound of very crushed stone; here are the two entrances of the cavity.
