A rock shelter with holes in its ceiling in la Bisbal de Falset, in the Priorat, 60 metres wide, 20 metres deep and 11 metres high, with two holes in the ceiling 15 and 14 metres deep.

Caratteristiche

Località

We will set out from the village of la Bisbal de Falset along the C-226 road; between km 34 and 35 we will find a paved track on the right. We will go up it until we find the first turning on the left, which is a dirt track that climbs parallel to the torrent. It will bring us to a col; here we will take a path that will bring us close to the cliff, where we will find the large rock shelter and the upper holes hidden by the scrub. We must move with great care so as not to fall into these two holes.

Descrizione

Morfologia

It is a very spacious rock shelter; it has dimensions of 60 metres wide by 20 metres deep and a height of 11 metres. The holes in the ceiling have a depth of 15 and 14 metres respectively.

Storia

Known since time immemorial. Visited on 8-8-2018 by members of the GE Badalona, who carried out the survey and the corresponding cataloguing work.
