Località

We will take the N-420 road until the exit for Falset. Before entering the village, at the first roundabout we will take the turn-off, as if we wanted to join the N-420 road again in the opposite direction. A few metres further on a turn-off appears on the right, it is the track that will take us to the Sant Gregori recreation area, a little further up we will find the rock shelter and ermita de Sant Gregori. On the right the Racons, with an area of rocks forming shelters and pierced by erosion.

If we continue along the path on the left we find the cova del Pastors.

Morfologia

Large concavity excavated in the red sandstone that presents maximum dimensions of 12 metres in length by 5.50 in depth and 4 metres in height.

Storia

Known since time immemorial.

Note from Espeleoíndex: The signage in the area as Cova dels Pastos (for Pastors) is clearly a spelling mistake, possibly by the same author as at a small cave located further north, at the coll dels Rosegalls, which appears as Cova dels Vandoles (for Bandolers).
