Località

From Sant Feliu de Guíxols along the GIV-6821 road, after km 38 we will take a track on the right. We must reach the track junction that leads to Sant Baldiri; we continue along the same track to the first sharp bend, where we will leave the car. We will take a small path on the left that will lead us to a viewpoint facing the sea; just below it is the cova dels Lladres.

Morfologia

The gallery forms a rounded chamber 7 m long by 6 m wide; the ceiling is very irregular, and the entrance measures 1.80 m by 1.50 m.

The cavity is located in granitic materials; it is likely that there was a quartz vein, and when this material disappeared (probably through its extraction) the space that forms the cave was left behind.

Storia

Known since time immemorial. The cave is currently (2016) used as a place of meditation by a Tibetan lama residing in Sant Feliu; inside it has a bed and various utensils.
