Località

To reach the cave, go from Cubelles to the Mas Trader residential development. Once at the access roundabout, continue along Carrer Dàlia, which turns through the development and, on reaching the crossings, changes name, so we pass along Carrer Goya, Carrer Rosales and Carrer Velázquez and follow this to the end of the street, where it ends, on this side of the development.

About 40 metres before reaching the end, follow a climbing path that leaves to the left through the middle of the woods and gradually bears right towards a small, very visible cliff situated about 20 metres above the path.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The cave is oriented to the SE and has a T-shaped plan with two galleries about 12 metres long from one end to the other. Light reaches the whole cavity.

At the entrance there are some test pits made during various archaeological campaigns that have yielded interesting prehistoric materials.

Storia

Known since time immemorial. Archaeological excavations were carried out between 1955-1958 by members of the Museu Biblioteca Víctor Balaguer (Vilanova i la Geltrú).

Practically unpublished in speleological catalogues until members of the Espeleo Club Barcelonès visited it on 29-6-2018 while carrying out the corresponding cataloguing work.
