Località

In the Serra de Pàndols (Gandesa). Following the 'road' that goes to the Santuari de la Fontcalda, on reaching the coll d'en Canar one takes a path called Senda de la Faixa Vedada, which leaves from the same pass in a NE direction, always at the foot of the cliff, and in less than 500 metres places us below the mouth of the cavity, which is quite visible. Approximate coordinates, to be reviewed.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Mouth 8 metres high by 9 high, closed by a dry-stone wall 2 metres high. A wide vestibule on three levels. Its dimensions progressively diminish, bifurcating in its terminal sector, after having passed a clastic collapse.

Idrologia

An ancient fossil spring seated on an N-NW / S-SE joint.

Altri dettagli

The vestibule contains a considerable thickness of livestock excrement, which testifies to its former use as an enclosure for flocks (in the lands of the Ebre they call it arrambador).

Storia

Known since time immemorial. The only data known are those given by the members of the GERP (Sant Just Desvern) who visited it in May 1986.
