Descrizione
Morfologia
Through a triangular entrance (A) one enters a gallery with the same characteristics and 4 metres long. On the left-hand side we find the continuation after a 3-metre drop, leading to the dome of a very irregularly shaped chamber from which two galleries start. The first of these, of easier access, has a passage of 7 metres with a dusty floor; in the ceiling of the other end a somewhat narrow crawlway opens through which we reach another gallery, this one of square section and 6 metres of passage in an ascending direction until exiting to the outside through an entrance of very angular structure. Parallel to this latter gallery is a narrow conduit that also reaches the outside. Placing ourselves at the aforementioned ceiling crawlway, there is a junction of galleries that link up again shortly before entrance (B). Returning to the chamber indicated above, through a low-ceiling passage we reach the other gallery of 6 metres of passage and sandy floor, which at the end divides again into two. One of the continuations follows a gallery of narrow section that changes direction (N) after a few metres and progressively becomes wider at 9 metres of passage, changing direction again after a junction of galleries (F), continuing in an ascending direction until it becomes impenetrable. Placing ourselves at the other continuation, one follows a gallery divided by a partition; at the end follows a straight gallery of little development that links perpendicularly with another gallery of 5 metres of passage. On the right-hand side one reaches some crawlways and on the left two more crawlways, one impenetrable and the other ascending with small drops that ends up linking at the aforementioned junction (F) of galleries.
Storia
Discovered and explored by the defunct Grup d'Exploracions i Investigacions Subterrànies de Corbera de Llobregat (GEISC), between the late 70s and the early 80s. It also seems that it is called by the wrong name of “Coves de l'Obisp”.
