It is located on the right slope of the Pla del Castell. To reach it, follow the track that leads to the Pla del Castell, leaving it approximately halfway, continuing along a path that descends the cliff face until reaching the entrance, which is difficult to locate.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The cave is 1.50x4 metres and gives way to a single gallery 42 metres long. The final section of the gallery is approximately 22 metres long and 3 metres high. The cavity is closed off by a very wide flowstone.

Idrologia

Worth noting is the small terminal sump, which in its current state is blocked by sediments, with possibilities of continuation.

Progressione

Inside the gallery we find a small ramp located 8 metres from the entrance, giving access to a small chamber. After passing over a small block, the final section of the gallery is reached.

Storia

A cavity known to the inhabitants of Tavertet, it was explored on 19 March 1976 by GE Mollet based on the information provided by the Grup Excursionista de Manlleu, who were aware of it.
