From the E side of the Cala de la Móra, follow the coast in a S direction, passing by the Cova de la Platja de la Móra and the two Estufadors de la Móra; right at the point where the cove begins, before the point of the promontory, the cave is found. Very approximate coordinates.

Descrizione

Morfologia

An entrance 4 metres wide and 3 high gives access to the cave, made up of a single chamber of circular shape. In the ceiling there are heights of between 3 and 4 metres. After passing the 12 metres of route, a small chimney without continuation is observed, formed above a kind of step.

Idrologia

The water reaches the waist and the floor that is stepped on is sand. A notable difference in the water level is observed between the 1997 survey and that of 2010: in the first the water depth exceeded 2 metres and in the most recent it was barely a metre.

Storia

The first data available are those provided by members of the SIRE – UEC, who explored and surveyed it in August 1997. Years later, in August 2010, it is explored by members of the GE Badalona, who, being unaware of the previous work, name it Cova de la Cala de la Móra nº 1.
