It is located about 50 metres N of the corral del Vilot, on the right bank of the southernmost ravine of sector O, of the Pla de les Bruixes (serra de Millà). The entrance is closed by a door. The key must be requested from Millà. Approximate coordinates.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The access entrance, 4.50x6 metres, leads to a 5.50-metre drop, at the foot of which two galleries open. The N one (closed by a grille) leads to the main chamber of the cavity. The S one, on a descending slope, ends in a bifurcation.

Storia

This cavity has been known and visited since time immemorial by the people of the region. Oleguer Escolà, in the Catálogo Espeleológico del Montsec (Espeleòleg no. 11/12), cites the cova de Millà, but the description he gives seems rather to be that of the cova del Biot; the possible confusion could be due to the fact that the cova de Millà is also known as the cova del Vilot. The GELL surveyed it in 1990.
