Località

Leaving Vallclara in the direction of Vimbodí along the TV-7004 road, 60 metres before km 16, leave the car on the left-hand side of the road, from where a wide track starts that soon ends. A narrow path leads us to another wide track that we follow until we find the cave, which we will easily see at the base of the cliff that closes the small valley.

Morfologia

It is a rock shelter 55 metres wide, 15 metres maximum depth and a height of 7 metres.

Altri dettagli

We find several dry-stone constructions: a column 1.5 metres in diameter and about 3 metres high; opposite it and near the outside, a construction 7 metres long, 3 wide and 0.5 metres high whose function is unknown to us; a dry-stone wall closes the E end and the entire back of the rock shelter is closed off by piles of blocks. Some of these piles are of considerable size.

Storia

Known since time immemorial. A cavity of which we only knew the data from the Inventari Arqueològic de Catalunya, which gives erroneous coordinates. Visited and catalogued in 2013 by members of the EC de Gràcia and GE Badalona.
