It is of reduced dimensions, about 4 m deep by 3.80 m wide. The floor is sloping, and the height of the entrance is about 2 m.
Progressione
To get there we will leave Gavà along the BV-2441 road towards Begues. At kilometre point 4.750, beside the hermitage, we will take the GR 92 that climbs to the castle of Eramprunyà, pass beside la Roca Foradada and then reach a small flat area with pines below the castle. Here we will take a small path to the left and continue very close to the cliff edge until we reach the ruins of the old hermitage. Beside it there is a small promontory with a cross; just here a small channel equipped with a cable descends, which will lead us to the cave.

Storia
Known since time immemorial.
Already from the end of the 12th century the faithful of the surroundings venerated a Mare de Déu found in a cave of the cliff edge; they erected a small chapel, whose ruins are still preserved, on the top of the hill beside the castle.
The legend tells that a shepherd found the image in a cave in the year 1193, he took it to show it to his friends, but on arriving at the village he no longer had it; this happened several times, and faced with this fact all the neighbours went to the cave where they found the image again; seeing the divine will that it remain on the mountain, they built very nearby a humble chapel on the hill at the cliff edge.
Worship was served by deodates, a monastic community of women dedicated to the service of God.
