Caratteristiche

Località

From Mont-ral we will head W; once past the esplanade at the exit of the village we find a junction, we will leave the path that climbs to La Foradada and the Pla de l'Avenc, and continue along the path heading NW. Once we have covered 75 metres, a path comes out on the left which we will follow, this one is from time to time marked with cairns and red dots. We will find a first fork where we continue to the right; a little further on we find a small trail on the left marked with cairns and the red dots, we must continue to the right. After covering one kilometre from the esplanade at the exit of the village, we will go into the forest on the left heading West for some 75 metres, where with the help of the coordinates we will find the pit.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Just as we enter we find the largest space of the cavity, a kind of chamber 5.5 metres long and 1.9 metres wide at the middle point of the chamber. The ceiling is formed by a large, completely flat slab, while the floor we find covered with plant detritus and blocks, at the same time as it descends in a slope.

In the lower part of the chamber on its right side, we find a small step of 0.8 metres between blocks, which gives us access to a gallery of triangular shape with constant dimensions of 0.8x1 metre in height, at this point the maximum depth of -3.6 metres is reached. In the last 3 metres the gallery makes a small ascending ramp, ending filled up with stones.
