Località

From km. 31.6 of the C-15 road (Igualada – Vilafranca del Penedès) the site of Canaletes can be reached via the road leading to Sant Jaume de Sesoliveres, at about 600 metres and past the farmhouse of La Bleda, we will find a track on the right, and at about 250 metres approximately, we will find some vineyards, here we will park the car.

Descrizione

Morfologia

It is a curious balma, about 25 metres wide, 4 metres deep and 9 high.

Concrezioni

In this balma important deposits of travertine accumulate, where small galleries that cross it have formed. Despite its small development, it has corners of great beauty, with an assortment of “guineus” or calcified roots that form showy eccentric formations. We also find small gours, pisolites and flows.

Idrologia

With a beautiful waterfall.

Progressione

We will take a path that will lead us to the bed of the Canaletes torrent, which we will follow downstream, quickly reaching the Salt dels Capellans.

Storia

Known since remote times. Visited and catalogued by members of the GE Badalona in August 2014.
