We leave the village of la Múnia along the B-212 road, and before reaching Km 10 we will take a dirt track that branches off to the right and will lead us to the casetes de la Gomila; from there a track sets off, to the right, that will lead us to el Castellot. At the foot of the cliff is the well-known cova del Castellot. Where the track ends, just below el Castellot, we will find the small cova de la font del Castellot.

Morfologia

It is a spring whose mouth was possibly enlarged to form a passage 4.50 metres long by 1.50 metres high.

Idrologia

Inside we find a small pool of water. In rainy periods it discharges water to the outside and acts as a small spring.

Storia

Known since time immemorial.
