Località

We will set out from the village of Rellinars along the B-122 road, towards coll de l'Obac, 100 m before reaching km 14, we will turn off onto a track, on the right, that will take us to the l'Alsina farmhouse. From here, we will continue a few metres further on and soon we will have to leave the car, the path is in poor condition, we will continue descending to the riera de Sanana and follow it until the track crosses the torrent; right here we will find a small path that will take us to a small dam that collects water for the irrigation channel, a few metres further on we will find the cave, right below the can Còdol farmhouse.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The cavity is excavated in a deposit of tufa stone (also known as calcareous tufa and travertine). At the entrance we find a small step of 3 m that we climb by a precarious wooden ladder, which takes us to a small chamber of 4 m. From here two galleries start, one 6 m long and 7 m high and another, on our right, of 5 m and a similar height. The cave has a total length of 22 m, and +12 m of elevation change.

Concrezioni

We also find stalagmitic flowstone, some of it damaged by human action.
