Caratteristiche

Località

From the village of Sarral we will head to the hermitage and recreational area of the Sants Metges; here we will find signposts for the routes to access the caves. To go to the cova Cativera we will take the track that leaves from behind the hermitage in an E direction; the track climbs up the right hydrographic slope of the barranc de la Solana; here we will find a wooden sign for the cova Cativera that we will ignore; after a long stretch of track we will reach a crossroads in the middle of a bend; we will follow the left-hand one; the track makes a series of zigzags uphill until reaching a new crossroads; we will follow the right-hand track until reaching the next crossroads, which is in the middle of a 180º left-hand bend; we will follow the right-hand one; we will soon reach a new crossroads with a sign for the cave; we will follow the right-hand one for about 400 metres to the end of the track; from here a path sets off downhill in the direction of the barranc where the cave is soon found.
