Descrizione
Morfologia
The cave has an entrance 7.20 metres high, although of these, only 1 metres remains emerged (hence the name Baixa). The width is 7 metres. Once through the mouth one reaches a flooded chamber that becomes narrow up to 22 metres from the entrance where it remains closed. The height of the ceiling varies between 2.60 and 0.20 metres.
Idrologia
From this chamber two sumped galleries emerge; the E one has a sumped passage of 7 metres to an air bell and continues through a small sump of 1.20 metres that allows reaching the end of the passage where one can put one's head up in a small air pocket.
The other gallery, located to the W of the main chamber, is wider than the previous one and, by means of two sumps of 4.20 and 1.60 metres, with their respective air bells, allow reaching the end of the gallery.
Storia
Known forever by the fishermen of the area, although the first news we have are those published by members of the SIS – CE Terrassa who explored it in August 1981.
In September 1997 it is visited by members of the SIRE – UEC Gràcia, making a report with the only topography we know.
