Cigalèra Deth Sarrahèra

In the Sarrahèra valley, in a narrow side ravine descending from the Passada del Nebot.

The route begins on the same track taken to go to the Cauva dera Hònt Hereda (at the N exit of the Vielha tunnel); once past the Sarrahèra ravine, leave it about 200 metres further on and climb through some meadows until you find the ravine again, where the valley is already wider and passable. Further up there is a shepherd's hut, after which you must cross the river and follow just below the impressive wall of the Pala de Sarrahèra and the needle of the Tüc des Hennes; you cross some springs and, overcoming the last slope, you reach some flats situated just below the Passada del Nebot. You must go up a narrow ravine that descends from this point, right beside some holes of artificial origin. After going up about 100 metres you will find the cavity hanging on the right, about 30 metres above the ravine. The flight of the jackdaws that nest inside can help in locating it.
