Balma Gran

We will set out from the village of Sant Joan de Vilatorrada, to the village of Fals along the BV-3012 road. Here we will take a dirt track heading east, until we reach the font de les Oliveres. From here a path sets off that crosses the pla del Maquis (it has this name because of a shootout that took place in 1945 between some guerrillas and the civil guard), we will continue walking amid some wheat fields that bring us closer to the cliff, we will continue alongside a limestone cornice until we find a passage to descend to the balma Gran, or balma del Francès.
