Progressione
To reach it you must set out from the Hostal del Vent, on the LV-4241 road from Solsona to Coll de Jou. We will go down along a path that passes beside the pool in front of the hostel itself, along the right slope of the head of the gully. At the first junction, we will go down to the left until we cross the Torrenteller gully. We will continue descending along the left slope beside the wire fence, cross the gully again and go down to another junction. We will continue straight on, leaving the path on the left, and cross a small torrent in a leafy shady spot. We will continue on a slight climb along the slope of the shady spot, and each time the path will offer us a great view of the Torrenteller ravine. We will cross two small torrents, pass a small col on a spur, with a small needle about 8 metres high, located below. We will go down beside a rock wall until we reach a forest track. We will go up along the track and, keeping level, reach a junction, finding the forest track that comes down from the side of the Puitdeponç gully. We will go down to the left, and without leaving the main track, ignoring the other secondary tracks, we will reach a metal cattle grid. From here we will continue a few more metres, turn right, cross the ridge and follow a faint path, pass under the wire fence at the most suitable place, and continue beside the wall passing through the rua (path between two cliffs), until we reach the rock shelter.
Storia
Known since ancient times in the area. It was inhabited; a stake for hanging some utensil for the fire is still driven in.
